Charge This piebald pony was Joranth’s trusty steed for almost ten years. Generally placid, Charge had a slight fixation on dangerous things as a result of a miscast spell (his natural fear instincts were reversed). The only time Charge ever got nervous was when Joranth brought out his spell components. This was because he had been the victim of Joranth’s travel spells once too often. Charge was eventually retired and only went walking occasionally with Joranth when he visited Dragondale. Charge died
on 2705:3:25. As far as can be determined, he passed away at the exact
same moment Joranth was slain by Cha-im in the Ruined City, far to the
south.

Goldie Goldie was a goldfish belonging to Tekuna. Unfortunately, the fish was allergic to the Wreath of the Seas and died soon after Tekuna starting keeping the Wreath in her fishbowl. Gwyned Souriin bought Gwyned in 2694:6 as a mount for Belimirar. She proved a quiet and sturdy steed and although she is now retired, Belimirar still occasionally rides her between the University and Dragondale. Stats:
16 hp, +1 init, speed 60 ft., AC 13, 2 x +2 hoof attacks, damage 1d4+1.
Harmony's mule For transport Harmony rides a rather spirited grey mule that she saved from being sold into mine work. Stats: 22 hp, +1 init, speed

Jasper Due to what was a very high mortality rate amongst pets in the early days of Souriin's career, he unwisely decided that it was time to get an animal that could fight a pride of lions and win. He bought a heavy warhorse named Jasper. What he did not consider was that while the animal was nearly immune to damage, he was not. With a thunder of hooves, Jasper showed him time and time again, why a man should be clad in a full iron suit, before mounting a heavy warhorse. Stats:
40 hp, +1 init, speed 50 ft., AC 14, 2 x +6 hoof and +1 bite attacks, damage
1d6+4 (hoof) and 1d4+2 bite.
Old Rogue Damalanthas bought this horse as griffon bait in 2693:10. Not having the heart to actually feed the horse to the griffons, Damalanthas ended up keeping the horse and named him Old Rogue. Remarkably, the old horse is still alive and living out his final years at Dragondale Ranch. Stats:
1 hp, +0 init, speed 10 ft., AC 12, +1 lick attack, damage nil.
Pharlap II Pharlap II was Euvgeni's trusty warhorse during most of his early adventures with the Lords of Rotan. Named after a racing horse in Strontal that Euvgeni admired, Pharlap II was a worthy steed for all Euvgeni's travels in and around Rotan. The horse has now been retired and now lives contentedly on the Maryamitrevnavich estate in Outreach. Stats:
23 hp, +1 init. speed 60 ft., AC 14, 2 x +4 hoof and -1 bite attacks, damage
1d4+3 (hoof) and 1d3+1 (bite).
Sid Sid (a goldfish) was one of Tekuna recent pets, bought as a replacement for Goldie in 2705:4. Rumours circulating in the city that Sid was actually an example of the legendary Godfish proved false when he was killed during a freak lightning strike on 2705:7:17. Tekuna replaced Sid with a cactus. Spot Spot was Tekuna's war dog. She bought him in 2693:4, just before travelling to Meldora. He was a very friendly dog, who spent much of his time in the Temple of Rotan (his residence when Tekuna was not in town). Spot was killed in an unfortunate building accident in 2703. Tekuna's cactus Bought as a replacement for Sid when he died in a freak accident, Tekuna's cactus has thrived since she bought it. Tekuna keeps the plant in her flat in Rotan. |
