All of these necromancers are members of Project Deathwatch.

Astra of Mistlewood
Astra is a human with an albino skin affliction. This leaves her very sensitive to sunlight, to the point that she has taken on a reverse day/night cycle. Throughout her life, she has been hounded as a ghost, a vampire, a witch and a banshee. For some peculiar reason, she is drawn to necromancy as a specialist sphere. She feels that she is a freak, but because of her experiences she takes time to see beauty within and is often attracted to things other people view outwardly as repulsive.
Distar of Helmfront

This middle-aged human married into a rich family. He used his magic to enhance the family’s wares and protect their wagon trains. When it became obvious that he could not sire children, his wife took a lover, and together they tried to assassinate Distar. He found out that her family had sponsored the attempts on his life, and he left quickly, but not before killing his wife's lover, and having his body deliver his message to her personally. She was found – quite mad – wrapped in her still, dead lover's embrace. Other than this incident, Distar is quite a practical, sensible man and a natural organiser.
Elistair Insando

This charismatic middle-aged (41) woman came into Souriin’s notice unlike the others. She selected herself. She showed up in the University one day and demanded to see Souriin. She then stated calmly what his project was and declared that she has been watching the caching of undead for the last two months. She declared that she would like to join the group in order to help supplement the circle’s summoning capabilities. She has since organized the rag-tag bunch better in terms of everyday duties, and has quickly gained respect for her hard, unshakable approach to any given task at hand. Her will is yet to find a limit or true test. She secretly yearns to challenge her willpower against a fiend someday.
Elmythra Olgasdottar

Nobody knows where this highly talented human woman comes from. While charismatic, and apparently open with people, she offers no clues to her past, and actively avoids all conversation about it. She almost effortlessly grasps all necromantic knowledge, and seems to be fascinated by death as a transition.
Enyaki

This gnome is unusual in the fact that he prefers magic to mechanical toys. He has no dubious past (unlike most of the others), and has no hatred for anyone. Recently, he has become the cooling voice of reason amongst the magi, cautioning them against trying too much, too soon. He, like the other gnomes has a huge talent in making devices, and has dedicated his skills towards the betterment of the lab equipment used, and the safety of the process. He is a lot calmer than most of his brethren, and is able to keep his enthusiasm at bay (mostly). This allows him to survive his inventions and even get them right. The others for most part trust his gimmicks — such as the static tube — enough to use them after rigorous testing. Enyaki is 101 years old.

Felon Tardan
Felon is a young elven mage of noble origin whose family was killed while on a trip to Tillon. They were ambushed by a horde of goblins scouring the countryside for scraps of food. Although Felon was able to protect himself from the creatures, there were too many for him to drive off and he had to kill his sister in order to prevent her from being eaten alive.
Finnigan Morman: Finnigan is a focused young woman. Sometimes too independent in her approach, she has a problem accepting authority unless she trusts the person giving the orders. She is a loner, and shares none of her spare time with the other members of the Project. She has no specific specialisation, preferring instead a broad education in all of the branches of magic. Secretly, she fears necromancy, but is resolute in wanting revenge for the slaying of her young brother. Finnigan is 23 years old.
Gramm Eddar: Although not gifted with magic, this old man is a brilliant alchemist. His instincts and persistence have allowed him to develop his own research work. Although arthritis wracks his body, it has not taken away his keen mind and ever-present curiosity. Before coming to Deathwatch Isle, Gramm’s research grant was retracted by the Pirsian government due to lack of concrete, sellable results. He cares for nothing but his research.
Jandar Ter'Faan: This charismatic young man has failed Souriin's expectations at magic. At best only mildly talented with spellcraft, he does have a knack for decoding the states of matter, and an interest in alchemy. Beyond that he fails to apply himself to magic seriously enough, although he does show a slight aptitude for the field of alteration. While his family lives, his father lost a leg in a battle near Feroll, and now partially relies on Jandar to supply the family with money. The reason for his continual presence on the Project is that he has become the unofficial representative of the group when Souriin is not around. He has a talent for organising resources and people, and his very presence seems to uplift the others. Jandar is 25 years old.
Makor: This old man mainly rests. When he walks, he hobbles. When he speaks, he rasps. He has no odour, and casts no shadow. He never seems to eat. He looks like someone's great-grandfather. Casting magic of any sort seems to drain him to exhaustion. It is as if his magic energy is drawn directly from his body. When one of the others can get him awake, he seems to have a storehouse of memories and experiences, but he has long forgotten which are tales and which are his own memories. He has a 10-year blank period in his mind, erased and unreachable by magic. He never shows fear, and keeps his cool even when provoked. He insists on doing all of his chores (the few he has) by himself, and gets upset when people fuss over him. Makor specialises in the field of necromancy and is at least eighty years old.
Reginald Tasseman: As part of the Pirsian guard, this half-elf saw most of his friends killed by beholders. He has a burning hatred for the creatures that smoulders just beneath the surface. He feels responsible for the deaths of his friends, as he was unable to do anything to save them. He is an evocation specialist, and he revels in sudden explosive magic.
