The Rotan Youth Alliance is not part of the RMA’s formal structure, but an offshoot established by Annaline and Ghazal Nikrig of Draco Trading. The stated objective of the RYA is to encourage Rotan’s youth to become more involved in the running of the city. Both Annaline’s motivations in setting up the RYA and the reason for Ghazal Nikrig’s involvement remain unclear. The Youth Alliance operates from an office in the RMA Business Centre. Draco Farm hosts regular “team-building” visits of groups of youths from Rotan. |
