A guilty mage's
dream one night
Started off our quest
We all went off adventuring
On the forest mother's behest
We were to deliver her children
From the grasp of an evil mage
And restore her magic to the lake
To prevent the end of an age
A leprechaun to guide us
We entered the deep wood
And slaughtered a lone ankheg
While questing on for good
We met the forest's children
A queer bunch for sure
They gave us all tests
To show that we were pure
With centaurs and satyrs
And korreds in the fore
We fell on the bugbears
And killed 30 or more
Amidst the bloody battle
We befell the evil tower
And cleaved an ogre chieftain
With a sword of power
We fell into a trap
Upon entering the tower
And discovered to our horror
The mighty orb of power
An old and bumbling henchman
Felled by an unknown blade
But not before his master
To the battle was bade
He fell upon us quickly
He knew not the word defeat
He had us trapped and cornered
And there was no retreat
He spared our lives that day
Much to our surprise
We had already foiled his plan
Enemies to despise
P.S. The mage is collecting them.
