Outreach Gem Supply is a merchant company originally set up by Euvgeni to help market Outreach diamonds in Rotan and the rest of Ivrea. It has since expanded to trade in all kinds of gemstones, as well as providing cutting and setting services for jewellery. Currently, the Gem Supply has offices in Outreach, Rotan and Nedgari. On 2705:7:12, the RMA launched the Nedgari Gem Emporium – a jewellery and gemstones outlet in the dwarven city, providing a major competitor for Outreach Gem Supply. Competition lead to increasing tensions between the two organisations until, on Euvgeni’s request, Tekuna met with Kyra Jess’a to discuss matters. Tekuna discovered that although Kyra
is somewhat inexperienced, she has a natural flair for business matters.
A deal was struck on the handling of the gem industry. The RMA is allowed
to compete in Outreach, and the Gem Supply can continue to do business
unfettered in Rotan and Nedgari. Kyra gains a seat on the Standards
Board and gemstone classification and quality control falls within
the activities of the Board. The trading office of the RMA represents all
of the Gem Emporium’s interests in Outreach.
