Flash's Treehouse
Map

For almost ten years, Flash retired to a treehouse complex near the Druid's Conclave to raise his daughter, Hawthorn. During this time, he built several cross-ways and other structures, suspended in the leafy canopy.

The Meeting Hall
The walls of this hall are decorated with ancient memorabilia of the past hundred years of Flash's life -- war axes, banners, scrolls and other strange gifts from the people he has come into contact with. Hanging on the wall above the main table are crossed set of rapiers from days gone by. On the opposite wall, above the door way is a painting of a great golden dragon that bears a striking resemblance to the one that went missing under mysterious circumstances from the Rotan Museum.

The Watch
Set high above the forest floor, this re-enforced balcony has been treated to prevent it from being set alight. The bins in the corner hold two quivers filled with arrows, and special arrow slits dot the walls. There are always two spare bows plus strings available in emergencies. Flash's daughter Hawthorn has developed excellent marksmanship skills under his careful tuition.

The Stone Circle
Left behind by the Druids, this circle was the place where ancient ceremonies were held during the spring and autumn equinoxes. One gets a strange feeling of calm when walking through the circle as though Egreera's hand has never left it. Only a thin grass covering and moss grows on the floor, and Flash swears that as the first rays of dawn strike the centre altar stone, he has heard the ancient chants of rituals gone by.

The White Oak
Completely out of place, this oak tree is covered in whitish silver leaves all year round. It is an ancient oak that appears frozen in time and only animals feel comfortably around it. Lately though, a couple of the leaves have wilted and fallen. When Flash showed it to Owen, he muttered something about the colliding equilibrium that went straight over the top of Flash's head.

Ogratha
The only other resident of these parts is a large brown bear. When Flash first moved here, this bear appeared and "watched" him from a distance for many days. At first Flash ignored him, but after attempting to track the bear and have it disappear into thin air, Flash decided it was not a normal creature. Because the bear never seems to leave any tracks, Flash calls him Ogratha -- the Paw carried by Wind.
