This letter was written by Euvgeni to King Anwell shortly after the battle with Dagaronzie and after a truce was reached between the lizardman nation and Outreach. From: Euvgeni Maryamitrevnavich,
Ambassador of Outreach
Greetings and Salutations, Ruler of the Known Free States I am happy to report that Souriin and Damalanthas are alive and have served their purpose well. A truce of sorts now exists between the nation of Outreach and the invading force of lizardmen. Rest assured trading routes will be re-opened shortly. Recent developments have seriously affected the supply of wood products, in this light prices may fluctuate in coming months as well as quality. The nation of Outreach will endeavour to attend the Council of War. Damalanthas’ time has become a precious commodity. His interest and concerns extend beyond the boundaries of Rotan. Please allow him his freedom to move and act as he sees fit. Souriin is wise beyond years and has seen many events beyond comprehension. Do not exclude him in your deliberations. The green dragon has been wounded. No doubt, it will return to harass Outreach in the future. A matter concerns me about the disparate factions in Rotan. Your position may become untenable if you do not act in a forthright manner to resolve conflicts. Rotan is the centre of the nations. Here is where a unified front must begin at the Council. However if Rotan’s own problems escalate (I refer to the disgruntled church of Artafor), then the hope of unifying the nations will not succeed. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am by the apathy I have been treated with by Rotan. The war for survival has begun. Make haste! The armies from the North do not care about eternal strife. Outreach places its full support for the crown of Rotan despite these problems. Ambassador of Outreach
