Keg of Alchemist's Fire

A keg containing alchemist's fire explodes on impact, dealing 6d6 points of damage to all creatures in a 10 ft radius, and 1d6 points of splash damage to creatures within 15 ft. Anyone within the 10 ft blast radius takes a further 1d6 points of damage the following round unless the flames are extinguished. One keg of alchemist's fire costs 400 gp.

Trolls
When targetted against ranks of marching trolls, each keg of alchemist's fire does an average of 6d6 hp of damage to 4 trolls and 1d6 hp of damage to a further 8 trolls, for a total damage of 32d6 per twelve trolls, as per the following diagram:

Each large block measure 10 feet across and is split into four 5 ft. x 5 ft. blocks. The impact point is indicated by the asterisk. The four trolls inside the main blocks take 6d6 hp damage and the eight on the outside take 1d6 hp damage.
